BEFORE YOU BEGIN

  • All proposals must be submitted online for consideration/
  • Please read the Call for Proposals Submission Guide prior to the start of the submission process.
  • Click on the "start" button to access the online proposal form.
  • Upon successful submission, the submitter will receive an email confirmation which should be retained for your records.

As you plan your proposal submission, please consider the topic areas listed below which have been identified as potential focus areas for the conference program. While proposals may address more than one area, you must select one which fits best. The example topics below are intended to help you develop ideas, but we welcome and encourage additional ideas, such as ethics and how it relates to the topics below; as well as encourage submissions that highlight how organizations have continued to pivot in these areas.

PROPOSAL PROCESS & SELECTION CRITERIA

Selected through an open call to all members, hundreds of ASAE member volunteers act as peer reviewers, anonymously rating proposals within their area(s) of expertise. Diverse peer input is very important in terms of shaping the look and feel of ASAE events. All proposals are evaluated on each of the following criteria:

  • Showcase Innovation
  • Subject Relevance
  • Program Design
  • Overall Quality

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Proposal submissions begin - Friday, October 17
  • Proposal submission end - Friday, November 21 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
  • Proposal notifications -Early February, 2026

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:

  • All proposals must be submitted using the online form, no exceptions.
  • Plan your submission in advance.
  • Limit to one engagement, each content leader will be limited to presenting or co-presenting one session only.
  • The primary point of contact (POC) is the person submitting the proposal.
  • All proposed content leaders must be listed, if possible.
  • Use clear, error free language.
  • Use attributions when appropriate.
  • A description of instructional flow/design is required.
  • Avoid all commercial bias.
  • Be original.
  • Adhere to published deadlines.
  • Observe intellectual property rights.
  • All accepted content leaders will be required to attend a 1-hour speaker training session prior to the conference.
  • All accepted content leaders must register.
